Osprey (Pandion haliaetus) are sometimes also called "fish eagle or fish hawk". They nest in high places, usually above a river or other body of water. In Yellowstone you will find them nesting on pinnacles in the canyons. They eat almost exclusively fish. Here one adult keeps watch while the other is tearing off chunks of fish to feed to their very newly hatched three chicks. Calcite Cliffs, Yellowstone.
