Ospreys (Pandion haliaetus) use their same nests year after year, and some believe the nest are even used by multiple generations of the same osprey family. Like any good home, the nests occasionally need a little improvement. Ospreys collect their sticks by flying very low over dead trees and snatching the top branches off with their powerful feet. Calcite Cliff, Yellowstone.
