Moose Falls, Crayfish creek, one mile north of the South Entrance, Yellowstone National Park. These falls plunge 30 feet as Crayfish Creek makes its way to the Lewis River and on into the Snake River.
The waterfall was named in 1885 by members of the Arnold Hague Geologic Survey for the plentiful moose found in the southern sections of the park.
