Winter (18/80)

Angel Terrace in the Mammoth Hot Springs complex is a travertine terrace built naturally of the eons. Travertine is a terrestrial sedimentary rock, formed by the precipitation of carbonate minerals from solution in ground and surface waters, and/or geothermally heated hot-springs. In non-protected areas it is a highly prized building material.
