Yellowstone - Mammoth (5/16)
Elk (Cervus canadensis) calves in Yellowstone begin to arrive around Memorial Day. I was fortunate to witness the entire birth of this little one. The bonding which occurs between mother and calf after the birth is a wondrous thing to witness.
