

Mule deer (Odocoileus hemionus) in Yellowstone generally give birth in early June. These two are only minutes old as you can see they are still wet. Mom has scent glands in her hoofs that will help her twin fawns identify her from other does once they rejoin the group. Hell Roaring trail head, Yellowstone.
