Courting grizzly bears ((Ursus arctos horribilis). During the grizzly bear's mating season, pairs combine and stay with each other for a week to 10 days. During that time they frolic, play and mock fight for hours on end. I have seen this behaviour before, but never within camera range. Here, on June 16, 2011, this pair came about 170 yards from the road in Yellowstone in the Little America area and carried on in and out of the water for about an hour.
