The Blue-eyed Darner (Aeshna multicolor) is a voracious predator for its size. This dragonfly will eat almost any soft-bodied flying insect including mosquitoes, flies, butterflies, moths, mayflies, and stoneflies. You can find them in Yellowstone near lakes, ponds, and marshes at lower elevations.
