Coyotes (Canis latrans) move their pups from one den to another fairly frequently. Dens become soiled or unsuitable for a number of reasons. This Yellowstone mom had nine pups and a big job! None of the pups were particularly cooperative and she simply grabbed them as she could. Once caught, they all just "went limp" and went along for the ride. Gibbon Canyon, Yellowstone.
