This adult female grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) got lucky and found an elk carcas in the Garndiner river near Sheepeater in Yellowstone. It was in early May so the elk was probably an winter kill. She was not interested in sharing. Sheepeater, Yellowstone.
