Winter storms can approach quickly in Yellowstone. Here, in September at Pelican Creek, the storm is coming in over Yellowstone Lake which is just to the right out of the frame. This image always reminds me of the magic of being in the right place at the right time. Much of that is just luck, but if you are not out there it can't happen.
