This Grizzly bear (Ursus arctos horribilis) mom or sow, has been teaching her cub to survive in the wild for over a year. It is still hesitant on occasion, but mom just keeps teaching daily. By the cub's 2nd year, mom will decide at some point he is ready to be on his own and send him on his way.
