Gibbon Falls from below. This fall is an 84 foot waterfall on the Gibbon River, about five miles northeast of Madison Junction on the lower loop of the Grand Loop road in west central Yellowstone National Park. In the late summer, when the water is low, it is possible access the base of the falls by hiking in from the nearby picnic area.
